Duties and Responsibilities

• Holder of an SC and have at least 5 years’ experience in a similar position.
• Knowledge of Incoterms, HS Codes and Customs Laws and procedures.
• IT verse (MS Office) and familiar with Tradenet system.
• Meticulous, methodical and organised and good time management skills
• Able to work in Team, under pressure and at odd hours.
• Dynamic, proactive, autonomous, good communications skills, respect of confidential information, high level of integrity
• Valid driving licence for Motor Cycle and/or Car an advantage

Profile

• Determination of HS Codes
• Prepare Bill of Entries
• Check Manifests and ETAs
• Prepare and apply for import permits
• Make sure  all documents received are in compliance with Customs laws and regulations
• Have the necessary documents approved by Customs and Ministries
